Pelvic Health Through Yogic Practices

Your pelvic floor is your body's "tote bag" — quietly holding and supporting all your precious organs. When it's balanced, it helps prevent incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, pre/post-pregnancy issues, discomfort during sex, leaks when you laugh, sneeze or cough, and pain in the lower back, hips, or groin. Keeping this area strong also protects your pelvic and abdominal organs as you age — it's a foundational tool for preserving energy and vitality.

In this workshop you'll learn:
- How breath work supports healthy movement of the respiratory and pelvic diaphragms.
- An enquiry-based approach to the pelvic floor and energy body through asana, breath, and mudra.
- How the pelvic floor connects to the deep core myofascial line of the front body
- Why foot alignment matters for pelvic floor health.

Hatha-Based Yoga Offerings

I teach Hatha-based yoga that blends gentle stretching with dynamic movement, always focusing on alignment and breath.

My classes welcome everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you’re completely new or have practiced for years, you’ll find a supportive space to deepen your understanding of your body, quieten your mind and build strength and flexibility at your own pace.

With 35 years of yoga practice, a background in Naturopathy and Ayurveda, I can adapt postures, breath exercises, and relaxation techniques to what is needed – honouring where you are today, and helping you move forward from there.

Classes are by invitation only, as I try to fit the person to the level of yoga experience… If you are interested, find out more by contacting me.

"I had been to a few yoga teachers but classes with Perry were on another level. I hadn’t expected yoga to get inside your head as much as it does. Sure it keeps me injury free for sports I am hoping to maintain into my 70s but the knowledge she imparts, her voice that permeates the soul and her warmth she radiates all make the weekly session an absolute treat".

For the last few years I have been attending Perry’s yoga classes. It is the most rewarding and helpful class. Perry shares her extensive knowledge and insight with us. Gently guiding, giving us personal care and is sensitive to our needs. I have seen her through her Naturopathic/Ayurvedic clinic on several occasions and have found her advice and support through some of challenging times invaluable. Perry is generous, kind, uplifting and inspirational. Thank you, Perry, for the light and peace you bring into our lives.
