Ayurveda Health Auckland, New Zealand
Ayurveda, naturopathy, and yoga provide a wonderful, interconnected approach to health and wellness that has been cherished for centuries. Instead of just tackling symptoms, these practices dive into the root causes of illness, helping to maintain a beautiful harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
As a qualifier Yoga therapist, Perry tailors gentle and personalised practises to each persons unique needs – wether your managing chronic pain, seeking balance, or trying to maintain strength and flexibility.
Ayurveda is a medical system that identifies imbalances in three fundamental energies (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and treats them through herbs, diet, and lifestyle changes. Yoga uses postures, breath work, and meditation to strengthen the body and calm the mind. Together, Ayurveda diagnoses imbalances while yoga provides targeted therapeutic practices. Both address root causes and support the body’s natural healing capacity.
Yoga therapy is yoga tailored specifically to you—your body, your challenges, your health goals. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply want to feel stronger and more balanced, yoga therapy adapts the practice to meet you exactly where you are.
Unlike a regular group class, yoga therapy gives you individual attention through private sessions or small groups. We work together on physical poses, breathwork, meditation, and visualization—whatever your body needs.
“Being new to Yoga and suffering from meniscal damage to my knee, I found Perry to be the perfect introduction. At the ripe age of 50 and a sports enthusiast who thought Yoga was for ‘girls,’ I needed nurturing with a steady hand. 19 months later I hate to miss a class and am preaching to others about the benefits Yoga can bring. Perry’s understanding of personal needs and limitations provides a positive outcome for whoever is fortunate enough to find time for her class.”

“I feel stronger and infinitely more flexible. I am for the first time in my life looking forward to exercising. Far outweighing the physical benefits are the mental and spiritual aspects. I feel calmer and more centered. I am learning to be truly present and to look at life from a very different angle.”
